Originally from Okeene, Oklahoma, I was raised in a wonderful Christian family, attended Catholic school through the 5th grade, and finished in public school. I earned a BBA & a Minor in Music from SWOSU.
I began my work career in retail, moved to operations management for a manufacturing firm, then to executive recruiting. In late 2004 the Holy Spirit called me into full-time ministry and I completed 3 years of study at St. Meinrad School of Theology earning 2 Masters degrees in theology. Then God called me into the lay ministry of the Church at Catholic Charities in early 2008. In late 2015 God again had a change in mind as I re-entered the track to become a Catholic priest. I was ordained a transitional deacon on February 5, 2016 and, God-willing, will be ordained a priest on July 16, 2016.
Music has been a large part of my life – I have played guitar and bass in many bands, orchestras, done studio recording and led praise and worship for many Christian functions. As my ministry moves into a more sacramental nature, my music involvement will decrease, but I will continue to play for personal enjoyment and for retreats and days of prayer.
I am currently assigned to St. Anne Catholic Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. We are expanding, moving and transitioning so there is a lot to do in my new role as deacon. You can contact me at:
